Childhood emergencies are unavoidable. Though they can be minimised with due negligence and vigilance, you can’t prevent them completely. Children often get injured due to falls, or being struck with an object, due to burns, cuts, drowning, poisoning, and from insect and animal bites.
Childhood emergencies need to be handled properly as safety needs of children are different from adults. Children are different from adults in terms of their legal status, consent to treatment, mental capacity and level of understanding, physiology, range of diseases and disorders, and dependency on others.
In case your child gets burnt or he gets hurt due to falls or acquires any other injury, you must ensure that you have a first aid ready at your home.
